is there any way we can make the QA flag.pkg install with a bombed bluray board? and without linux?
i was hoping you guys could make a bd bypass for the package. then we could downgrade with a bd bypass firmware, and remarry the drive, then upgrade.
i dunno if this is possible and i hope you understand what i mean.
the only otherway to do this is the older method, and the qa flag method is alot safer in my opinion, thanks for everything you guys have done so far

I'm personally not a PS3 dev, so I can't really say much about your idea as far as feasibility goes. You might want to bring it up in IRC (in the #otheros channel). There are usually a lot of people in there who actually do know something about PS3's, unlike me.

I think that's largely because until I did some updates to the website recently (just the other day) there weren't really any links to the forum anywhere. It kind of puzzles me too, because we have a fairly active IRC.

Agreed... But things seem to be ramping up.
I'm really enjoying the high level of help to all
no matter what your dev/hacker/noob/ultrageek status is.

There is nothing but genuine acceptence, a rare thing in these the higher echelons of the tech forum realms.
